Hi, my name is Mustaqeem and I'm a third year student studying Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo. In addition, I have completed three internships and have gained extensive work experience developing responsive web and mobile applications. I also explore other technologies in my spare time and have developed several side projects. Some of these projects have won prizes at various hackathons that I have attended. Due to the nature of my program I am always seeking new internship opportunities. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions!
One such hobby is playing music. I have played the flute, drums, piano, alto saxophone and baritone before. Since last year, I have been teaching myself how to play guitar and I hope to continue playing for my entire life.
I have also recently taken a greater interest in my level of physical fitness. I aim to go to the gym 3-4 times a week (due to school commitments) and my ultimate goal is to be able to run through a half marathon. At my personal best of 3 miles, I still have a long way to go, but I'm determined!
